Client access for service is dependent on needs, goals and the guidelines of the various funding bodies. Some level of service is available to all Canadians.

Clients are served depending on their need to determine suitable occupations, acquire additional information about work, and/or find employers with meaningful and sustainable employment. Our professional staff will direct each client to the most appropriate job search assistance until their employment-related goals are met.

1. Resource and Information
   The Employment Resource Centre provides a wide variety of labour market, job search and career planning information in print, computer-based, audio and video formats. Job banks and job postings are available. Workshops are scheduled on a regular basis to cover employment-related topics. Computers, fax machines, phones, and photocopiers are available for client use. Staff is available to assist with the resources and to help users of the centre determine the level of service they need or if other community resources might be beneficial. Service is available in both French and English.
2. Assisted Service
   Clients may access individual or small group assistance in career planning and job search. They may continue to use the Employment Resource Centre and work with our professional staff to guide their research and decision-making.
3. Job Placement and Incentives
   Clients may also access workplace-based interventions that include referral to available jobs, time limited support in the workplace and/or wage subsidies.
4. Training Support
   Some clients may be eligible for training supports that will assist them in gaining the necessary skills to increase their ability to find and keep appropriate employment.
